    What's on the workbench?

Was wondering about this one! Figured it was another muff circuit. Was actually thinking about doing a combo inspired by this with the Chelsea and the Fumble boost Edit: I know for his old bass rigs, he had a Fuzzrocious Muff. He works at CME when not touring, so this is probably some version...

    Skeptical Buffer

Didn’t do the 9v, but I’ve got a fender engine 12 and 5…didn’t matter what was powering it or if anything else was in the chain or not or what instrument I tried. I saw some other posts talking about it possibly being the TL072’s

    Skeptical Buffer

Mine always had a high pitch that would get introduced whenever the harmonics & bright switches were engaged. Never went back to it 🤷🏻‍♂️

PedalPCB Blender - not much from tone knob or boost switch

Worked and sounds sooooo much better!

    Byzantium Flanger

For real! If I would’ve tried to line this up with my little plastic template thing from SBP, never would’ve got this right 🤣

    Byzantium Flanger

The pcb and all the tiny components have been sitting in a box for months, just waiting for the day… This thing sounds sooo fun! Always been a phaser guy myself, but damn flanger is cool haha calibrated by ear and I absolutely love it. Stacked boards went way easier than I was anticipating...

    Capsize Preamp

*UPDATE* I gave the blue build to my uncle, who is insane at gear hoarding. So I made one I won’t give away…

    Capsize Preamp

By ear…Looking at the board, the left was slightly CCW before noon, the right was slightly CW past noon

    Schematics missing from the store

Is there a drill template for the Byzantium hidden around here somewhere?

    Muff clipping diodes & LEDs

So it’s like putting the leads of components through the board and then basically drawing the trace lines with solder component to component? And this was really all a lesson in not googling, reading multiple forums, and robot computers while also trying to work a restaurant

    Muff clipping diodes & LEDs

Breadboarding has definitely peaked my interest, just not really sure where to start! Seems a lot more challenging/intimidating (which I’m up for) just not sure what I’d be doing.

    Muff clipping diodes & LEDs

I’m trying to find the thread that started this rabbit hole and I think it may have just been a misunderstanding on my end from Roberts reply and then snowballed from there 🤦🏻‍♂️

    Muff clipping diodes & LEDs

Like I said in the beginning, never tried any of the suggestions nor was I really LOOKING for specific mods, just bored curiosity at work. Like I said at the end, not a fan of it. So I guess I’m asking you specifically now @owlexifry , the leds and diodes would go ACROSS not up and down like...

    Caesar Chorus Bass Mod

Idk lol I’m just bored at work thinking about things

    Muff clipping diodes & LEDs

So I get bored at work a lot and end up reading a lot of forum posts on here. I also will randomly feed ChatGPT some schematics and just ask what mods can be made. I don’t know if any of them would work or sound good, it’s just more stuff to read and think about. Anyway, it suggested for a...

What about also increasing input and output coupling caps C2 & C28 to allow more bass through?

Cataclysm Delay with Bontempo tap control & modulation

The vibrato test was a heavy duty fabric glue spray and then topped with modge podge. The delay was all modge podge, which was a lot easier to work with.

Cataclysm Delay with Bontempo tap control & modulation

First off, huge shoutout to @jwyles90 for the encouraging words and quick lesson on fabric corners. The look was inspired by his builds and was actually A LOT of fun to do! SO…got a Cataclysm with an Electric Canary Bontempo, giving me tap tempo control, 6 time divisions, modulation, and 6 mod...
