Not so magic anymore.

The other board I have on hand to get started is the Kliche Mini. Just populating the small parts so far. One of the precious, magical, NOS 1N34A Germanium diodes broke bending the legs. The glass just snapped in half. Soldering maybe tomorrow.

I’m waiting for more PCBs to come in but I have a couple to get started on. Not sexy, but useful. This will be the first one I document in real time on the board. So far just populating the pcb with the small components.

I used the data sheet something like this to get the emitter, base and collector oriented correctly and used a few photos, as well as the pedal schematic and followed the traces to connected resistors to double and triple check before soldering them in.

I was tempted to go straight to modding this build but better sense took over and I built it stock. I think that means I need to make another and do the fat mod and a few other things to it.

Another one that was a classic circuit to crank out in my first series of pedal builds. This one went together as planned with no mods or changing anything from stock. And because I really wasn’t feeling creative on the enclosure design, it had to be identifiable as an ODR-1

This one is the other half of wanting a Pork And Pickle. Instead of the IC I went with the four 2N3904s, I already had some from another build. Paint and graphics seemed straight forward enough. Gotta get the cat hair off the pedals before photos!
