When I check continuity between tips of the jacks it seems like it’s 50/50. Checking the sleeves it’s 100%. It seems to be, in my untrained opinion, grounding somewhere but I cannot for the life of me figure out why or where.

If I'm using the spdt toggle instead of a rotary clipping switch and therefor omitting diodes D8 & D9 as per the build documents, do I have to add a jumper in their places? As always thank you for dealing with my noobedness.
