I'm returning to my large enclosures, and you can't stop me

I've eyed one of those as well for making my own multi-effect stomp like that. I'll be watching!

I need a new step bit

I have and use the Irwin ones. Yes they are more expensive but they last long. Even with the non brand name ones I make sure to drill a pilot hole. And if the enclosure is not finished I will use some sort of lubricant. That and go slow, otherwise i tend to gild the aluminum to the bit.

    JFETS, matching etc.

I have this one Transistor Tester, DROK Mosfet... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01MS1FOYM?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share Used it for jfets, transistors, and resistors so far.

    JFETS, matching etc.

I have A tester from amazon and I made a tester from rullywow or madbean and they correspond to each other. I've build two nom-nom phasers from madbean which quad sets that I matched myself. I haven't tried useding matches ones in other pedals but I've wondered about it just like you..

What's your favorite PCB on this site?

I like the abyss so much that I bought another to build for my smaller pedal board. I'll be finishing the Photon Vibe soon, we'll see if that replaces that. I'm guessing it will.

    Diode Selector

yeah, people can shared projects there, and I've ordered some, usually you end up having to order 3 which may be good or not. For the diode selectors, I haven't found one that I like the design of...granted I'm not sure of what I would really want either...

    Diode Selector

rullywow has a shared oshpark that has a diode selector which anyone can order. I ordered a couple but haven't put them to use yet. https://oshpark.com/shared_projects/vjOHrvda granted I wouldn't mind something produced here instead.

The Abyss - Blown Yellow LEDs

Looking at the schematic r23 is 4.7k and r25 is 47k and r24 is 100k and r26 is 100ohm. I could see myself swapping or getting some of those messed up, so maybe start checking there?

The Abyss - Blown Yellow LEDs

I've been running mine for a couple practices now and am still working. Do you have the intensity cranked? I'm wondering if you have a resistor wrong leading to that led that is causing it to get more voltage and burn out?

    Malificent Mids

yup I hit it with clear coat and then baked in a toaster oven at just over 200F for 20mins or so. It did dull out the colors a bit, but it'll keep which is the important part.

Figured this will probably be an always on pedal for me, so I had my son do some drawing on it, and pick out the knobs.

Unicab with input switch, thru and balanced XLR out

Nice build! glad to see someone put and xlr in one. If I ever build one, I'll do the same.

I kept forgetting to order the b25k pots for this so I had it almost done for a while. I used a stamper my wife had and my son added the punctuation... Got it wrapped up late last night so didn't get to do much a side from basic testing. I have band practice tonight so I may see if I can get...
