    Oxide Distortion (Ibanez MT-10 Mostortion)

i built an MT10 Mostortion years ago, but I just etched my own PCB for it and used a relayed true bypass. IMO, It came out very nice and sounds really good. here's couple of pics of it:

    Decadence (Peavey Decade)

I just received the original Peavey Decade pedal and compared them sonically. They sound identical with the boost that I added to the circuit.

    Aion Cepheus (Cornish CC-1/GC-1) build

i just finished building this one today. Aion supplies the PCB to build either the CC-1 or the higher gain GC-1 on the same pcb. I opted for the GC-1's eq with the lower gain of the CC-1, since I found that the pedal really couldn't do absolutely clean and i actually like it quite a bit (on bass...

Sungrazer High Gain Germanium Fuzz (Monolith Oracle)

nice! i built an Oracle about 10 years ago when I was still using veroboard on some of my builds. It does sound really good.

    Scabbard/Dagger Overdrive

I just finished this one and I like it. On this one I used the graphics from the original EAE pedal so I can remember what it actually is. I used all Wima film caps in it and used a PedalPCB relayed bypass.

    A couple more builds

Just thought that i'd share these since i just finished these two. A JHS Angry Charles and a Brownout (Subdecay Variac). I like both of them a lot and used a relayed true bypass on both. i did one mod on the Angry Charles since I'm a bass player by using a larger value input cap to allow more...

    Mouse Rat (Lab Rat)

    thanks!

    Decadence (Peavey Decade)

the new factory pedal has an internal charge pump that runs it at 24 volts, which probably gives it way more headroom and more output. i tried adding a 24v charge pump to mine, but for some stupid reason it didn't work out, so i added a clean Jfet booster to the output instead so i can get it...

    Dunwich Cthulhu: "Whippoorwill Fuzz" (w/Gerber)

very nice! i build the 3 knob version (etched my own pcb for it, added a relayed true bypass and acid etched the enclosure) and i dig it.

    Mouse Rat (Lab Rat)

i built one a while ago and i really like it too. Here's a couple of pics of my build (i used a waterslide decal on mine too):

    GCI Bass Brutalist

thanks for the info. i may have to try those in it, but i do like OPA2134's though.

    Decadence (Peavey Decade)

just finished this one and i like it alot. At unity it still has a little grit but it's mostly clean.

    Nein

I built one too, I also own the original and my clone sounds similar but is definitely different (it has less gain). I'm guessing it's because of the jfets which i find to be very hard to match to originals Fairfield pedals. here's a pic of my build: and a pic of my original:

    GCI Bass Brutalist

I just finished this one, a GCI Bass Brutalist. All the film caps are from Wima and I used the mods contributed by John Snyder of Electrical Audio Experiments. I think that it sounds great: gut shot:
