electrical tape is not a good idea... the leads can just poke through and short..... hook up power to pcb outside the enclosure.. bend the treble pot off the board and test for signal with all controls

wait... what's with the wires coming off the dual gang? is that a single gang and you have wires doubled up? and do you have back of treble pot insulated with a dust cover?

i'm not familiar with those particular jacks... so i'm no help there... I do see some of your soldering isn't wicking to both sides... you could have a cold joint.... unbox it and go ahead and touch up your joints.... and does your led work?

I prefer one color for wiring because of aesthetics… I wire the entire PCB after populated with all wires a bit longer than needed before putting in enclosure…I trim and solder each wire to the switch… then I trim and wire dc jack… slip in the jacks and trim/wire the grounds at top of pcb… go...

Great job...... next year we will razz you about all that extra wire you have. For now I'd say job well done! it looks awesome.

I had an actual V2 for a while and let it go when i started doing a bunch of my own building.. I really do like the low gain sound with them...

I'm sure you tried adjusting the trimmer to find the sweet spot? also your breakout board has a wire looking a little wonky

so If I wanted to build an audio probe to work in conjunction with my signal generator how do I build one ? I want to connect my signal generator to an audio probe built into a scrap enclosure and then run out into a little practice amp I have.... problem is I'm confused on what to connect...

Ive have this pcb for a while and need to dive in…. Im just now getting experienced enough to try and match jfets by taking measurements with the dca75… I’m a bit Intimidated with jfets readings and being able to figure out what resistors to make everything right..

Also.. Confirming the tayda drill template was spot on… I just ordered it predrilled and powder coated with some of my other goodies that came in over the holidays..
