I would likely suspect your offboard wiring on your toggles? any reason you wired them instead of pcb mounting them? and are the switches On/On and not On/ON/On etc etc? I can see a few spots with suspect soldering

I strongly suggest buying the j201 from pedalpcb already soldered on the adapter boards if your new..... use trimmed leads from resistors to solder to the adapters and pop into your board like a through hole component... search in the build reports or forum in general for that build and take a...

If they are NPN germaniums it would work... Maybe...But... a few things come into play. Be mindful of the pinout of transistors that you want to pop in...The HFE/Gain of the transistor and it's leakage come into play..... R3 resistor and the trim pot may need to be adjusted to different values...

no.. it's a little more complicated than that... pnp uses positive ground.. you would have to flip polarity on a few things What I can see is a possible short on your diagonal wire on the stomp switch.. and from the angle it almost looks like a potential bridge on your electrolytic cap in center...

It's not impossible but pretty hard to find NPN germaniums.... My guess is you have your pinout for transistor legs installed wrong.. but honestly for us to help identify what other things you might have going is to read the sticky and post good pics of your build so we can catch whats going on.

I'm with @jimilee ... if you don't have a bypass signal then the issue is somewhere in that path and not the pedal itself.... Guitar>Cable>input jack> wiring for input jack to footswitch> footswitch itself or the bypass loop wire on the switch>Output jack wiring>Output jack itself> Guitar cable...

I'd stay away from cloth pushback on pedals... get the multicolored pack on amazon.. 22 gauge remington stranded/topcoated wire

You have the clipping leds in correctly.. the flat spot on led indicated cathode.. as well as component leg length.. longer lead is normally positive.... The strip on your electrolytic capacitors denotes ground... currently you have C8 and C7 backwards... Which is most likely one of your...
