Hi All, Building the parenthesis fuzz and want to make sure the rotary switch is soldered in correctly, is there a way to tell if its the right way up/in? I haven't used one before so don't want to mess it up. Thanks for any advice.

Oh that’s interesting, maybe (hopefully) that’s what’s wrong with mine. I haven’t had time to audio probe it yet but I can’t see anything that’s really wrong. What EEPROM number does yours say? The one they sent has a different designation that the BOM.

I switched mine too, a quick 5 min job so nice and easy. I have it set about the same too which is much more usable.

I have the same problem, I can only turn it up about a quarter turn and it gets so loud I've been really turned off using it. I think I will try swapping for a A50K also and see how it it, glad I found this post! If OP has already changed, how does it sound now?

From what I remember when I made this that sounds about right but it was a while back. I had a lot of problems when I put it together but that was mainly due to one wrong resistor value and a fake BBD chip, once I figured that out it worked like a charm. I think that mostly you set the trim pot...

Hi! So I've just finished my Paragon/Kot pedal, pretty happy with it now. But what do the trim pots do? It says in the build doc about presence. How do you know if its in the right place or is it just by ear? Any info would be great, thanks! Mark

I completely forgot to reply to this, I’m really sorry!! So the main problem turned out to be a bad MN3207, I went through the pedal testing voltages and with a audio probe but eventually started trying different chips. I must of had one bad one so now it works! Thanks for any potential help...

Yes the rate LED flashes when you then the pot.

An update to anyone that might be able to help. I found one problem, I put a 470R instead of 470k for R5. Changed that and got signal through the pedal when turned up…but no effect and when the blend knob is turned to max all sound shuts off. So fixed one problem and found another!

I’ve since given it a good scrub with IPA and gone over the joints to see if any bridges. I got the V3102D from antique electronic supply, I’m assuming it’s a real one but you never tell. The other I got off another user on here who had used ones in his build.

Hi, I’m in need of help with the Caesar Chorus. I’m getting a clean signal when turned off but nothing when engaged. I’ve done a signal trace and getting sound from R1 but I gets weaker from C1 and so on till nothing at R3 or 5. It’s coming in fine from the input jack, just loses it fast...
