Got the pedal all together ready to test it out.

LED doesn’t work…. Huh that’s weird. Wait I’m not getting any signal either wtf. Check some voltages everything looks good. LEDs is getting power. Check continuity with ground. Nothing weird. Check switch that’s good, switch seems fine. Check continuity between led ground and the sw pad nothing wtf.

In case anyone was curious you need to solder all the pads on your header. Not just the one to hold it in place.

Yep, that generally helps.

I remember now I was lining up the headers on the switch board before soldering them in place. And just never got back to the soldering part.

I feel your pain, did something similar yesterday. Finished and plugged in the Chauffeur, the led came on, but no signal. Very confused because everything I built always works.

Wiggles some wires, looked at all the solder joints.....nothing. Looked at the build doc, realized I got crazy with the 4558's and since they're are so many, that's all I put in the sockets.........

Well thank the lawd for sockets! Forgot the charge pump ic! Put that in......nothing. Beyond confused and bummed since I had limited time to try it. Then noticed after flipping the board so many times, one single leg of a 4401 came out........put that in, proceeded to wail on guitar for 30 seconds before I had to leave.

When I put together a zonk machine on vero last night I plugged it and got absolutely nothing. I checked the pots were up, guitar volume, cable etc

And then I noticed I hadn't hooked up a battery
