3PDT Breakout Board Direction

I see that it says "THIS SIDE DOWN" very clearly on one side, but that side is actually facing up towards the user when the pedal is in use. Does the "THIS SIDE DOWN" side face up towards the face of the enclosure? (That's how it's depicted on the product page, but I'm just making sure.)

That's correct. It's oriented exactly as show on the product page, with the in/gnd/sw/out facing away from the footswitch, and to the bottom of the enclosure

Thanks! One more question about these breakout boards: I notice the ground contact does not have a trace to any of the lugs. Should I add wiring from this contact to the lug, and then from the contact to the board? I'm building the Parentheses, and it looks like that would be the center lug.

The ground pads are connected to the footswitch by the ground plane, there isn't a visible trace, but the connection is there.

BTW the breakout board isn't directly compatible with the Octave footswitch wiring on the Parentheses. It works perfect for the other two, but the Octave footswitch wiring is slightly different.

Thanks — that makes sense. And yes, I noticed that with the middle switch so I planned on just wiring it without a board.
