A-B-C switcher with order

Hi all!

Some time ago @Feral Feline was talking about loopers and he piqued my interest but what he was writing about was not entirely what I needed.

I managed to pester him into buckling to answer my questions and expand my knowledge of switches/loopers and general electronics as well!

One thing I have found on this forum coming from a few others for different hobbies, is that the amount of knowledge and helpful people on here is staggering. And Neil is one of these people. He continually answered all my questions, no matter how obscure. He even drew me amazing pictures that even I could follow!

With that, we (well mainly Neil) designed an A-B switcher so I could separate different loops of my pedals (sort of wet/dry). We also put an order switch in there so I could have either A or B in front of the loop. So either A-B or B-A.

Then to completely screw with him I asked for a separate C loop which would come after the main A/B loop that I could “audition” a pedal or a few pedals along side my existing pedal board with out having to re-wire anything. Just plug as many as I wanted too in to this loop.

And voila! Here you have it! Not exactly Reeves Electro classy point to point style but it bloody works!!!

Thank you to everyone on here for all your help/knowledge and inspiration! And to Neil for holding my hand through this.

Phil is a LIAR — he didn't "pester" me at all. 😸

It was a fun collaboration, and I'm totally stoked to see the finished product.

Now that I know that it works, I can build one. 😹

As Phil said, there are so many talented knowledgable people on this board, more so than me, that it's a privilege to be in a position occasionally to be able to give something back to the community itself, or an individual within the community.

Congrats on your build and many thanks for your kind words, Phil. 🙏
