Thanks, I had. And yeah, that is way simpler than even the sludgehammer XLR block. Part of me doesn’t want to trust it though due to its simplicity. I also found a Craig Anderton project for an opamp one, but it runs off 2 9v batteries for headroom and running the railsNot sure if you saw this but I just happened to come across it and thought it might be of interest to you.

After some helpful posts in this thread and a lot of thorough recording tests (vs going direct or my homemade ISO cab) I finally boxed up my Unicab.
