SOLVED Aion FX Minima – LED turns on but audio is unfiltered

Hello, I have been putting together the Aion FX Minima kit (Mutron Micro V envelope filter clone).

I've essentially built a lightbulb, as pressing the pedal turns on the LED but nothing happens to the audio – it's basically the bypass signal but with a very very slight volume drop.

Sort of baffled, any help would be appreciated. I've tested as many components as I can with my multimeter but they all seem to be operating as normal. The only ones I haven't been able to test are the capacitors and ICs because I'm still working out how to do that with my multimeter.

Next step is building an audio probe, I'm just waiting on some parts to come in for that but in the meantime would appreciate anyone having a look over at what I've done and seeing if I'm missing anything major.

Since taking the photos I've redone the dodgy connections on the PCB breakout but nothing has changed.

Did you connect the two connections from the breadboard that are needed ground and v+

No, no I did not. And you know what happened after I connected them? Almost as if by magic, the pedal began to work perfectly.
