AionFX Lumitron Resonant Filter (Mu-tron III)

I toured with a wanna be jam band through the south in the 90's... We covered a lot of Dead,Phish, Widespread Panic, leftover Salmon and String Cheese instrument.. Back Then I was using Digitech FX25 and I was getting an almost perfect Jerry quack back then with just a strat.

I tried the DOD FX25B. It didn't rock my boat. My notes on it indicate that it didn't have enough gain. I attempted to rectify that issue by lowering R5 from 20k to 10k. I ended up selling it. If I remember correctly, it was not beefy like a Mu-Tron. It was too wispy, if that makes sense.

Only thing nicer is a properly champed bit! ;)

There are a few of those that actually make me mildly physically angry... because I'm crazy.

"Jive" and "chomp" don't do it, but hearing people mix up "home" and "hone" bugs the shit out of me.

Maybe the worst, though, is hearing somebody pronounce "aesthetic" as if the "h" isn't there. If something ever drives me from my pacifist tendencies, it will probably be that.

It's been a rough day at work, I can't wait to get hone. I'm going to relax by sharpening my knives. I find homing a good edge to be very cathartic.

If you really want to send me into a seething, hissing fury, you'll say you want to "hone in" on a particular subject.

I usually manage to suppress the urge to say, "Yes, let's use our honing pigeons to hone in on that." Introducing bourbon to the situation greatly increases the odds that my internal filter will let that through.
