The Air Castle Boost. A perf board LPB-1 for my friend's pedal steel. We're both traditional country and honky tonk fans, and it only made sense to incorporate the WSM antenna that boosted the signal across the nation nearly each evening.
Called “The Air Castle of the South”, the 50,000 watt 808-ft tower broadcast to much of the Central and Eastern US. Ralph Emery, Grant Turner, Ernest Tubb, and Eddie Stubbs brought country music and the Grand Ol Opry to its listeners and became a historical legend in the process.
