Sorry I didn't get a gutshot of the Fuzz War.
I used some Amperex A104 from Smallbear in the AB and it sounds really nice.
I made a bunch of changes to the Fuzz War, mostly using 470nF caps instead of the 680nF in the build docs, plus changing the 680pF tone cap to 3.3nF for now. I also put in some LEDs in the optional diode spots and some small resistor for that 27K optional one. Still I don't find the tone control very useful on this pedal simply because the low end is so boomy, so my knob probably won't venture outside of a very small useable range. I also used a A1M volume pot and pretty glad I did because I imagine it would be very loud with a linear pot. If I did this again I might even use a C100K for the drive knob because I think having it dimed is the only sound to go for really.
