Pretty easy build, no dramas to report. I can confirm that it fits the standard 3 knob type 1 drill template; I used the Tayda pre-drilled box and just enlarged the holes I needed to enlarge (LED and DC-input holes) myself.
Sounds great. The tone control has a lot of usable variation in it. And while it sounds like a Muff I felt like the sound of my guitar came through, sort of a transparent Muff, if you know what I mean.
