Anyone else waiting on their enclosures for awhile now?

My guess is the New Year. Just wondering if anyone elses orders are taking longer than usual? Usually by now it would've been shipped already. I know there's another thread about this somewhere but the life of me i cant find it. :LOL:

Yeah the Drilling stage took at least 3 or 4 days till it was completed. Im thinking of going back to drilling my own enclosures to save time not alone the money...

I just drilled an enclosure today for the first time in a long time. It wasn't that big a deal. I briefly considered going back to doing it myself, but then I remembered how much I hate drilling...especially when one pot is just barely out of alignment. I have several pedals that look like John Wilkes (google it, or come to lecture in 3 weeks). My last order, which only included one enclosure, painted and drilled, shipped a week to the day after I placed the order. Not too bad...but it could be better.

Now, if only Tayda learned that you only paint the outside of the enclosure, and not the inside too...then I wouldn't even care about the wait for a drilled enclosure...

Dude i cant tell you how many times ive had to "tap" the paint out of the drill holes just to get the screws to fit......
Drilling enclosures never bothered me its the misalignment when you do everything in your power to make sure its perfectly aligned!

Just ordered one enclosure, pedalpcb drill with no UV, champagne powdercoat and I ordered on Feb 2, 2023, 7:18:01 AM Bangkok time according to the order confirmation email and it shipped 11 hours ago, which I believe is 4PM bangkok time on the 3rd, so basically the next day for them.

Im wondering if ordering more than a certain number of enclosures has something to do with it?

I'm pretty sure those are pre-drilled but bare so they only go through the finishing house.

Ahh I see now.
Less steps = faster shipping.
I'm guessing it also depends on what you order and how that all falls within their process to make it.
 
I have noticed that the dashboard shows all done pretty quickly (paint and UV) and they create the shipping label right away, but then it takes several days for the shipping company to actually get the package (US shipping). I have one order at that stage right now.
