Anyone have a demo on a tubescreamer with 1n4148/2x1n4001 asymmetric clipping?

Just looking to see if anyone has a demo of how a stock 808 sounds with 1n4148/1n4001 asymmetric clipping.

If I remember correctly the Boss SD-1 is basically a TS with Asymmetric clipping

Yeah after like 2 more min of research i literally found a bunch of videos online Thanks for the info though!

The SD-1 has a few other differences that could account for some difference in sound. If you're just trying to assess clipping differences, maybe try to find a v2 timmy demo. Similar gain stage to the tube screamer, but it has a switch for the clipping. I believe Paul C said up should be asymmetrical, middle is symmetrical with 2 diodes per side in series and down is symmetrical 1 diode per side like a ts-808.
