Arachnid + Clock : The ultimate Delay machine?

Tell me if I understand everything correctly.

Getting https://www.pedalpcb.com/product/arachnid/ AND https://www.pedalpcb.com/product/fv1x/ with the EEPROM with those:

FIL002 - Sample Hold Filter
FIL003 - Filter Modulator
DLY003 - Tape Delay
DLY004 - Pitch Delay
DLY005 - Space Delay
DLY006 - Kaleidoscope
UNI002 - Unison (Modulated)
UNI003 - Unison (Double Take)

Would make quite many opportunities for some weird delays and effects, right?

With the Clock module, would it still fit the 125B?

Thanks for sharing your knowledge !

I would throw at least one reverb in there, if not two. (Modulated and/or Shimmer)

Yes, it'll still fit in a 125B with the clock module.

You might want to consider mounting an external pot connected to the trimmer so you can adjust the clock speed in real time. 125B starts to get tight

I haven't personally messed with the clock module... not sure what all benefits you would get with these patches (longer max delay time at lower clock speeds (lower sound quality), but the generic crystal already give about 1 second of delay). See this thread for a few other comments, would love to hear from folks who have implemented it to good effect.

Keep in mind changing the clock will affect any frequency filters and modulation speeds, and I think it will affect the pitch shifting of the unison patches too.

Some EQD pedals use a clock control, Rainbow Machine and Organizer use it as sort of a pre-delay for the wet signal, and the Afterneath Drag uses it to affect reverb density and tail length.
