I was contemplating adding a no-film water slide to the side of an enclosure that has a Tayda UV print on the face. I was wondering if anybody has ever baked a UV print?
Actually, I just remembered I have a UV printed enclosure that was a mistake. I was planning to figure out how to remove the graphic and save the box. Maybe I can bake it and kill two birds.
First, some back story, I have this UV print because I mistakenly added an old graphic to my new enclosure. So, lesson learned about paying extra attention in the Tayda dash board. I never thought this graphic in white was going to look good on red
The first picture, I scrapped the enclosure with a credit card trying to remove the print. That's where the text flaked off on the mix label.
The second picture I baked it for 30 minutes and then repeated the scrapping process. That's where the text came off of the bypass label.
The roughness on the print was there before and after baking, it is just more visible in the second picture.
You might have guessed this question is about a PFUK enclosure, I have UV print on the way and I wanted to add the logo on the side with water slide.
I'm confident enough to give it a go on that enclosure and report back.
