As much as I love the gorva enclosures, the lost space can make them a pain in the ass for the off board wiring.
So neatness went out the window and I was pleasantly surprised (shocked) when this one worked the first time.
I did the art by taping off the middle, and then using alcohol inks for the non taped off area. I then clearcoated the painted part, and did no film decal for the lettering. I didn’t quite wait long enough and some of the ink didn’t stick. So I went in with a marker. And while it bothered me a first, I kind of like the look it provided.
It has a lot more gain than I was anticipating, but maybe I just need to dial in the bias a bit better.
Not the cleanest build, but I consider it a success.
