Built the Boogie Monster Pedal today. I have to say it sounds great. Biased all the J201’s close to 5v. No mods. Used resistors and caps that I had laying around. Did not use MLCC caps.
Connected to the effects loop on my Egnater Tweaker 40. Guitar is a Ibanez Jem clone kit with stock pickups from Bargain Guitar kits.
It sounds meaty with crisp highs and solid beefy bass. Great build overall.
