Boss DS-1 Fuzz Mods

Hey there,

I am currently reading thru "How to Modify Guitar Pedals" of Brian Wampler book.

However, I would like to add the Wampler Fuzz mods to a DS-1 and/or a OS-2 project built.
Unfortunately the book only shows where to modify/connect on the backside of the actual Boss PCB.
Does someone maybe have a DS-1 schematic showing these fuzz mods?

Thank you very much in advance! :)

Aion has a DS-1 project (Comet) that has a lot of information about different mods. I'm not familiar with the mod you are describing, but I'd recommending looking over the documentation at Aion.

Hey there, thank you for the tip. Unfortunately the Aion project does not include the mods I am talking about. I mean the gated synth-fuzz mod, the gated synth mod and the octave synth fuzz mod from Brian Wampler's book. I show you pictures.

You will find the part designations p.4

I highly recommend the Mondo MIJ mod p.16, that's really an interesting mod. It's a bit more challenging than jumping 2 soldering points to make it sound fuzzy, but it's really worth the trouble.

...a toggle and an extra 9mm pot will fit in the original boss enclosure, easily, no need for dual concentric pot.

You will also find a gold mine of info on the Fbook group called Boss Modding Group. B. Wampler often interacts there.
