I love the classics. They can be very limited but hearing and playing them is like taking a history lesson in fuzz.

This one does sound great. It's supposed to be D*A*M* replica of an Italian tone bender from '66. For lead stuff, it's sharp and cutting. I don't think it would be good in a band mix but on its own it's sweet. Also, if I would have done it differently I would have not included the toggle switch. It does nothing that warrants it.

I used some vintage Russian transistors. Q1 had around 50 hfe and Q2 had around 80 hfe. I wasn't looking to make it identical to the original but just to have it sound good to my ears.

Went with a basic asthetic. Not too keen on the knobs but they were good for what I have in stock.

It's a classic fuzz. Super easy build. For the demo, I just start recording and whatever comes out, comes out.
