Buddy's Protoboard

Breadboard Baker
I should have posted this a while ago, but I felt that it wasn't complete without my own personal touch to it. First off, big shout out to @fig for supplying this and a few fuses to me a while ago. The protoboard definitely helps me feel like I fit in with this community.

Enough chit chat, here's my writeup. It's a build to make other builds :ROFLMAO:

I have to say, this is a neat little toy tool for breadboarding. The SMD fuses were a bit of a pain in the ass to solder on there. Took me a couple of tries with my iron, but I did not fry them thankfully. The terminal blocks are a nice touch for swapping out pots really quickly. Just make sure you use pcb mount ones and not solder lugs.

With the max1044cpa chip and fuses you are able to have 3.3v, 5v, 9v, -9v, and 18v of input. A very nice touch indeed!

My ONLY complaint about the protoboard is that it does not come with the ability to mount additional switches for, say, clipping diodes on/off. My own personal touch to this was to add a dpdt mod board from guitarpcb. I MAY end up throwing another one on there should the need arise.

I hope this helps to inspire you to wander over to the test kitchen and start experimenting!
