Bypass Trimpots or Potentiometers

If I wanted to exclude a trimpot or potentiometer do jumper pins 1 to 2 or 1 to 3?

i.e. on the Sandspur I want to exclude the external bias knob and just use an internal 10k trimpot. And I want to skip the Clean trimpot.

Yeah. I was going to bump up the internal trim pot to 10k and skip the sun dial.

KInda what I figured yeah, so just put the 10k bias pot in and jump 1-3 on the sundial

Awesome! Thanks! I'm glad I asked. I thought maybe 1 and 3 on the clean trimpot as well.

Cool. I see that now. Probably not a bad idea to check the schematic first... I guess I thought there was a hard and fast rule on these types of things. Thanks again!!!

It all depends how the pot/trimmer is set up. If it's set up as a variable resistor you can jump it from 1-3 generally, if it's set up as a voltage divider you need to do the 1-2 and 2-3 resistor jumper thing.
