Cap sizes

I'm building a Pauper. In the PCB layout I note that two 1u film caps (C15 & C8), but C8 is physically twice the size of C15, but I'm pretty sure that both the same voltage. What's the difference? Are they interchangeable? Besides just being curious, C8 (the larger footprint) goes right next to a trim pot and the standard Bourns 3386 footprint encroaches into its "space" requiring that I "elevate" it above the trim pot. It appears that my enclosure has the depth to handle it, but it would be preferable to sub the smaller if possible.

Also the footprint is designed for Bourns 3362P style trim pots.

So many trim pots?!?! So little time. The Tayda link shows a teardrop cap. Mine are both box caps. Just the same. . are they interchangeable?

As long as it's the right value it'll be fine.


BTW Tayda has the 3362P trim pots, just for future builds.
