Capacitor question x7r/c0g (aion amethyst - boss dm2)

Im building the aion amethyst (boss dm2) the build doc is specifying these caps.

100pF c0g
330pF c0g
100n x7r
200n x7r

i have most of these values from in mlcc but im not sure if theyre x7r or c0g. Some came from tayda and some are from other suppliers. How important in the circuit are these specified parts? Will any mlcc work here or should i source the correct components?

yes.
if you have the right capacitance value and it fits in the board, well, tbh it really doesn't matter

If using X7R, select the bigger size possible (according to the design and design needs) to avoid the capacitance variation with DC voltage applied.


Also, X5R and X7R have piezoelectric characteristics (microphonic), so are avoided in the signal path if possible.


COG have no piezoelectric behaviour and are much more stable on tempersture changes:
