Another installment of my expanded EHX thing I'm on this week. This time the Clone Theory, courtesy of the LectricFX Celeste board.
I'd actually intended to do the Old Chap today, but I'm out of the necessary 1/8w resistors, so here's this
Mods are as follows-
Caution - the vid gets loud in some spots
Awesome build, and fairly easy to put together and bias. The ticking was persistent even prior to mucking with the circuit, but I do need to pop it back out and get that sorted. Not really a fan of chorus pedals, but this one does have a lil something special about it
I'd actually intended to do the Old Chap today, but I'm out of the necessary 1/8w resistors, so here's this
Mods are as follows-
- R17 swapped for a 100kA pot and 56k resistor to act as a feedback control. R18 also reduced to 470R to this end. Can break into self oscillation when cranked
- C toggle switches another 560p in parallel with C19.
- G toggles between the stock and attenuated inputs
- Rate has been split into two pots, one for each mode. Chorus rate is still 1M, while the Flanger rate is 2M for even slower speeds
- IC1 is NE5532, and IC4 is LF353 in an attempt to quell the ticking sound throughout the video.
Caution - the vid gets loud in some spots
