Cement Resistors

Anyone have experience using these or know anything about them? I see on Tayda the cement ones are considerably more expensive. Are they useable in pedals?

Those are meant for applications where lots of current (and heat) are flowing. Not at all necessary for pedals and they wouldn’t fit on the board anyway.

Most commonly used as grid stoppers or cathode resistors in cathode biased amps. 12K is an odd value - not sure what you might use that for.
