I have a CH341a and trying to read the MX25L25673G chip. Eprogrammer will give me all FFs. NeoProgrammer is saying "IC not responding". This is the first time trying this BIOS/EUFI reading so I might be doing a stupid mistake.
Neoprogrammer is showing a picture of a 8 prong chip while the "MX25..." per the data sheet is 8 and 16. My chip is 16. The ribbon I am using is one I bought fully assembled for 16 prongs. I have tried in multiple connections with the same result.
If anyone could clue me in I'd be much appreciated.
The motherboard is working fine. Unfortunately, the BIOS is locked when starting the computer. This is a computer from a storage unit I won. It was covered in bug feces so I had to wash and replace parts. The BIOS isn't happy about that.
