Chalumeau -First pedal PCB build

Probably have made a hundred odd pedals but somehow this is my first PedalPcb build.

It’s a great circuit if you like lo-fi warbling modulation. The Mid-fi Electronics stuff is all really creative stuff, both sound and circuit wise. Unfortunately still has some of that PT2399 harshness a lot of circuits have but it seems to disappear in the mix with a band, but bugs the crap out of me when I’m just playing at home. Ultimately worth it for the weirdness though.

It’s my second build of this circuit and this one is the better of the two by far. The old one has some noise issues I could never quite figure out.

The faceplate is 3d printed like all my other recent builds. Pretty happy with the design, repeated geometric shapes seem to work best. Reprinted it and it came out a little cleaner the second time, the first one had a cool roughness to it so it ended up making the cut.

Sorry it’s already late here so no demo yet. I’ll try to record a little something in the next couple days if I can.

Just realized I forgot to clean off the flux. 6949A209-64B0-4081-B7C8-EAB5A9011DE1.jpeg 721366FF-2D80-4CA6-9B62-B49017C748E8.jpeg
