I built the chaos machine. When I turn on the pedal, no signal comes through and the pedal squeaks. What did I do wrong?

Does bypass work, I hope you trimmed and soldered the led. Can you include Images of your switches, jacks, and the underside of the board? Where you did get your transistors and ic’s from?

The bypass works.I bought the IC's and transistors on eBay and Alibaba. i wanted to solder the led when i put it in the enclosure. I don't think the led is causing the problem.

Visually inspect everything. Are all components the correct value? Check power on each IC and transistor. Check your soldering. The next step would be an audio probe to find your problem area in the circuit itself
