MODIFICATION Common Mods For Many Circuits

One common mod: changing a linear volume pot to logarithmic (or vice versa). Most pedals tend to use log for volume, but there's a few that for whatever reason do not. Changing from one to other is very low risk (you'll only change the sweep, not the range), but most volumes tend to benefit from log.

One thing I've been meaning to learn is what the type and value of potentiometers do in circuits.

If anybody has any resources I'm all ears. Meanwhile I'll do my Google due diligence

Yes, but larger (100kA-250kA) and wired as a voltage divider rather than a variable resistor.

I use the setup from the Gagan Easy Face
