which one? MkIIC isn't in that list of options for configuration (at least from what i can see).

so if a MkIIC is what you really wanted, you haven't missed out.

regardless, i think this is a sign that you should get a 90s dual rectifier

The JP2c is a MKII with the added feature of 2 equalizers which are switchable between channels

The video made my JP says he wanted his favorite amp, the MKIIC but with a feature that made it more suitable for performances. No they are not the same. The JP2C is the MKII with added feature. I haven't looked at the schematics, but it sounds like a MKIIC.
 
The 90s Reissue Dual Rec I think is actually the best Dual Rec ever made. I got to play with an original 90s Rev F for a while, but all the demos of this reissue sounds like the formula perfected to me.

Search for Mark IIc on Sweetwater, note the JP-2C that I bought also says it's a MKIIc. Got the matching cab too. Hey, it was my 70th birthday, I spent $13K on this and a bunch of other gear including a Ric, EON712's, Scarlette 18i16. I think that's all. Why did I spend so much? Most of the people I know are dead...

On the other end of the equation I was at the doctors today and they were looking for the 'old man'. When I said it was me they said WHAT? You don't look even 50!!!!! Got carded at Costco last month. Yeah... lol...

Happy 70th dude! There was a time not too long ago I didn't think I'd make it to 60 heh. (2 cancers ago).
Grateful to have a good shot of getting there now. I'm going to tell my wife I need $13k for my 70th and she better start saving now..... :ROFLMAO:

I'm 18 years cancer free as of 040726! Some pretty scary stuff there. A real white knuckle ride! Knocking on wood that nether of us ever have to go through that again. Statistics show if you make it past 60ish, you'll make it to your 80's! (y)

I just recently, out of necessity, became the caregiver to my 88 year old sister. Of all the things, she stopped taking her vitamins, got malnutrition, lost her marbles and walked out the front door looking for them. I found out when the hospital called. GAAA!

I've been taking care of her for a month now and she's back to normal. Hard to believe a lack of B1, B12 and folic acid can cause such drastic loss of mental function but she is 100% back to normal. TG.

First couple of weeks were *hell*, lol. Glad that's over.
 
2K?? Ouch. On the other hand FUCK old age. I'm only a couple of trips around the sun behind you. You take care of yourself and do what makes you happy. You're sure as hell not taking it with you.

And good on you for taking care of the fam.

On the other hand if I tossed $13K on new gear my wife would make sure it was my last trip around the sun :)

My late wife was a real wiz with taxes and saving $$$. We made the maximum 401k deposits possible, and started very young. I did a little math a couple months ago and realized I cannot possibly spend what she saved. So eff it, I bought great stuff !
