Danae Ovedrive build

I just finished building the Danae to see what all the hoopla is about (crazy prices for an original!), and I do think that it's an excellent sounding overdrive pedal, even with a bass. Anyway, here's some pics of my build:

no, it's a decal printed on clear decal paper then shot with multiple clear coats so the brown and yellow are semi-translucent making it look like a candy colored paint.

Exactly what clear coat do you use? Is this a modified TS? I’m not familiar with this pedal.

i use krylon matte clear and then buff it high gloss.

I believe it's supposed to sit somewhere in the middle between a Tubescreamer and a Timmy. We had some fun with this circuit a few years ago. First @HamishR modified the TSV-808 into the Timbre Man. And then @Chuck D. Bones gave it his treatment.

Aah so that’s what the Timbre Man is! Damn I bet that one sounds good. Wonder where the KarDiaN Serotonin sits in the mix of these I’ll have to check the schematics out.
