I just finished troubleshooting a Danube Fuzz build for a friend.
Symptoms: The output was VERY low and any adjustments on the Volume or Sustain pots killed any signal that was present on the output.
Here's what I found:
1) There was no connection on the circuit board between the Collector of Q3 and R15. I added a jumper to fix that missing connection.
2) There was no connection on the circuit board between R14 & R15. I added a jumper to fix that missing connection.
The pedal now works as it should.
I looked at the traces on the board, on both sides. Those traces are missing. If anyone is getting ready to build this pedal. I suggest you add the jumpers BEFORE you solder in the Tone pot. It was easier to add the jumpers on the rear of the board, which would be UNDER the Tone pot, than adding them to the component side of the board.
Hope this helps anyone planning on building this.
