I found this PCB after looking at his totally bonkers Big Fuzz Console. Anyway, this here is supposed to be a "faithful recreation of the famous and most sought-after V7C Tall Font Russian Muff" with a Mids control. Transistors are BC547C.
It's a very nice looking PCB with space for some special sauce components. I kinda followed the gut shot provided and used Royal Ohm 1W resistors, except for R24 (CLR) and R1 (pull down). For caps we have Xicon 23PS (silver) and Nichicon YX (yellow). I also upped the input and output caps to 180 nF.
Diodes are fancy 20 cents 4148s.
It's a Muff. It sounds great on bass. Being able to kick in some Mids is cool.
It was a bit of a challenge to drill by hand as the PCB is wide enough to just barely fit a BB enclosure. Absolutely no wiggle room left and right.
