Here is the report for 3 builds I did from Dead Air Studios. The Sawzall, Bow Echo, and Face Disaster
The Sawzall is a basically Distortion+ with the HM2 EQ. Very powerful EQ that super tweakable. Some fun sounds out of this one. It also has a switch to turn the OD off to just use it as an EQ.
The Bow Echo is a take on the classic Noise Ensemble circuit. Fuzz and delay with the PT2399 chip. Some pretty cool mods. A knob for modulation for a little chorus-like tones. If I would do it again I would probably omit the Diffuse and Starve knobs. Diffuse would be cool if it was more of a clean blend but it kind of removes the fuzz and adds in more of the delay. The Starve really didnt work as I'd hoped. Overall I'm just not a fan of this one. Really needs some coercing to get anything cool out of it.
The Face Disaster is my favorite of the 3. Pretty cool take on the Ugly Face. I had a lot of fun getting some weird sounds out of it. Despite the 8 knobs and a switch it really wasn't that hard to dial something cool in. Highly recommended this one for fans of the OG Escobedo circuit.
Overall some cool stuff from Dead Air that's not your normal DIY stuff.
Used UV Printed decals from Ninja Transfers.
