Dead End FX Petty Tears

I got this thing built and it works somewhat they way it's supposed to. I'm getting some sound cutouts based on some switch positions and some whistling. I've re-flowed solder for all the switches. The rotary switch causes some cut-outs depending on where it's set. Before I post photos and the like, I really need to know how this thing operates and what affect the various switches and post have. I attached what I think are the pertinent build docs. I have to raise this ongoing issue when Members ask for Help with an Issue with their Build.
I keep repeating this saying '' Pictures are worth a Thousand Words'' !!!
Please supply Pictures of PCB & ALL connections ( Footswitch, Input & Output Jacks, Power Jack ) to it along with a clear explanation of the Issue with your Build in the Troubleshooting Forum!
You will save a lot of Back & Forth guessing from the Help available to you if we can see the actual Build!
This will result in a quicker & less stressful environment!

Can’t speak to this circuit, but when I was wondering what switches did what on a different Deadend build they were very responsive and helpful over Instagram direct message.

FWIW, I did not find the matrix switches 1-4 intuitive or particularly useful, but do enjoy everything else and the unique overdrive/dirt tones that can be harnessed.

Thanks. I assume that changing the 1-4 switches should not cause the pedal to go silent. From the schematic they appear to engage or bypass the tubes.

It will help. I could not find a manual anywhere. I think I can troubleshoot it once I have an idea how it works and take more time. I need to reflow more solder and check some parts values. It's got a pretty good squeal depending on pot settings.
