Built this for a charity thing
Mods are minimal -
Beautiful layout as is tradition. Super easy build, and a classic circuit. Not my favorite 70s clippybox, but it's aight
Mods are minimal -
- R29 is 47r, as I dont have any 22r on hand. R32 increased to 1.2M to compensate. This also has the nifty side effect of giving up a spitty OD at minimum Dist setting
- Distortion pot increased to 500k for more gain, and a slightly fuzzier texture at max gain
- Clippers swapped out for infrared LEDs
- R38 decreased to 4.7k to help with muddiness at lower Tone settings
- 4.7n cap ran parallel to R39 to get rid of the nastiest highs above 15k
- IC2 is 4558 because it sounded a lil scrunglier than the 353 / 072
