Delegate Comp: Properly sourcing the TC1044…

Active member
Hey gang…I’m confused by the TC1044 required by the Delegate, knowing nothing about what this thing does.

If I go to Mouser I see a few different variations with different suffixes…

…and then they vary by function I guess in some way (“boost” or “invering”?) and voltage (12 or 9v?)…

…so I’m feeling stupid and confused as to which variation to use. TIPS?!?!

You want one with the S suffix (TC1044SEPA, for example)

The S denotes the "Super" version which runs at a frequency outside of the audio range, otherwise you'll likely hear the charge pump whining in your signal path.
