Didn’t have enough OPA2134s, so I popped a couple of TL072s in there. It sounds great! Should I even bother shelling out for the expensive opamps?

Probably not. A TL072 is a good modern op-amp alternative for many of the older ones. A OPA2134 is said to have more fidelity...but how much exactly? Probably not a super noticeable difference.
