Diode identification

My old phase 90 is shorting out, and I can clearly see a diode sparking. It's this one labeled 744. Is that a 1n744? Can't find a reliable schematic. I have a 1n 5239b

A 1n4002 and 1n4148 as well. If it's just the power protection, does it need certain specs? IMG20260722154936.jpg

Looks like it could be 1N4744 instead, which is a 15V 1W zener diode. That 1N5239B is rated at 9.1V 0.5W if I remember correctly. I would pull the diode to confirm the part number.
 
gonna guess as it’s right after the 9v supply it’s just a random shottky they had on hand, is the next diode in line identifiable as a 5.1v zener?

Yeah, it just say 744 on the side. Took it out. The 1n 5932 works for now, but it's rated at 9.5?volts I believe. Chance of blowing again? Never had one just randomly go out. It's an over 20 year old pedal.

Yeah it's right after the power jack. I couldn't seen a number on the next diode, but it's fine. Not shorting out.
 
Oh, I should mention for anyone out there with an early 2000s phase 90. The evh and standard block logo boards are the same. If you look inside it has the script logo button up near the pot. Just remove the dot of glue on top. Cost saver at the time I guess.
