Double Wah Weekend

My buddy sent me two crybabys that he had tried to mod for true bypass, add a hot potz and an LED but wound up just killing both pedals. I had gotten a tear jerker board built up for him while I was waiting for him to send 'em. After installing the tear jerker in the first wah, I decided to try and see what was up with the original boards. He managed to pull a few traces but nothing that couldn't be repaired so I got the next wah pedal all repaired and reassembled. I gave the second wah to my other friend who's too cheap to buy one and sent the tear jerker and a repaired crybaby board back to my friend. And I even got a hot potz for my wah! It felt REALLY good to repair rather than just throw away or sit broken and collect dust!

I couldn't have done it without the friendly education I've had on this forum! Thank you ALL!

Nice job! Did you do the SRV thing and run a wah into a wah and tape them together?
The only time I've even heard of a "double wah" was in an old Guitar Player mag article that hypothesized if Jimi Hendrix and Miles Davis had gotten to play together. They said Miles would have used a double wah, so I tried it and it was a bit much for me @ 17 years old. But taping them together....
What's this SRV that you speak of...I thought I knew all his tricks! :ROFLMAO:

Not sure I want to know where the third wah would connect.....

...and taped one to each foot? Hot Damn!
This one post on the guitarpedals subreddit lives on in my head. It was like a 10-15 year old picture of their old pedal board where they had a Big Muff and a Tubescreamer, and had duct taped a piece of wood that went from one footswitch to the other footswitch. So they could either stomp on it on one side to toggle just one of them, or in the middle to toggle both of them. What a great solution to something that we would need (semi-)complicated relay setups to achieve now!
