EHX Magnum 44 Pedal Amplifier

Yeah, some of these seem crazy for the price: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32830972522.html

Seems like it might be worth it to drop $10 and build a Son of Ben to put in front of it.

(Note: I was drawn to the one in the link because I'm thinking about doing stereo guitar with pitched down signal running into a bass cab.)

EDIT: I just realized that third channel is useless, since it's for subwoofer, its range is 10hz - 180hz

I think both of these are excellent ideas...especially the first ;)

Thought I want less power. I found some 10W, 9V LM386-based amps for a couple bucks. I'd like to see if I can get the TH Customs amp to work (period), but I might get one of these just for the space saving alone (the caps on the one I built are HUGE).

Digging up this thread again.
I'd also like to see a simple DIY amp along the lines of the Runoffgroove Ruby / Noisy Cricket - but a bit more powerful than half a watt.
I'm in need of a practice amp, something nice and easy.

I need one NOW!! In my post on the other TPA3118 thread, instead of a "volume" knob consider a rotary switch with power step downs so output can be tailored to speaker ratings. If you have a Celestion Blue you don't want to blow it out cause you didn't have a sense of where 15W output is.

Thanks for showing this off!

I think the small pedal sized power amps are very cool.

Has anyone ever made a similar in size Class D power amp that is powered by 3 prong AC plug (like Quilter)?
