Messing with this super uber easy circuit and thought I'd share what I've found. If everybody already knows this .....sorry I'm late for dinner
So get you're hands on some genuine JRC386D's still pretty cheap for all my builds that call for this chip . The difference between say lm386n or m was massive. what I found to my liking was a JRC386D in IC1 and lm386n as IC 2. Cleans up with the Guitar Vol much smoother and cleaner then back to crunch just with the vol on your guitar what a great little pedal
