COMPLETE EWS Fuzzy Drive

The original EWS Fuzzy Drive is an op-amp OD/Fuzzstortion that plays a range of roles well depending on settings and placement. It plays well with other drives and distortions, and has an inexplicable ton of headroom. The *Little* Fuzzy Drive is a compact version with some tweaks and what I believe is an added switchable Low Mids boost. Would love to.

I cannot overstate how versatile and stackable this pedal is. The lack of upvotes is only due to this three knob swiss army knife being 100% slept on.

Can you maybe link some Youtube video that you feel is representative of how it sounds? That usually helps, since it's more unknown and I only have your word to rely on.
Yes! Andy's demo is solid. This is for the standard Fuzzy Drive.

Rumor has just reached me that the Little model has enough difference to be kept separate. So my focus is on the standard Fuzzy Drive.

Well... Wondered if I'd be interested at all in this one so I checked TalkBass.

First threads that came up don't bode well for bass (not to mention Andy saying ..."without the soggy bottom end"):

Guitar Demo in OP, one reply to thread:
"If I had to guess it uses diodes for clipping (I haven't listened to the clips yet) and a Tonebender like sound."
😹
Maybe, just maybe, listen to the clips before deciding on the clipping method and topography of a circuit.

Then this thread:

OP — anyone tried this on bass?

Anyone?

Ah well. It sounded good on geetar.

FWIW I made the Effects Layout version (Frizz) and I ended up selling it to a bass player. And she loves it. Go figure.
