First Breadboard!

I feel so stoked right now. Finally tried my hand at breadboarding. Started with an easy one. The fuzz factory, with a 2n2222 and two OC71s. Whoa!

I tried plugging pots directly into one of my breadboards and the holes were never the same after that. The leads are too fat.

Breadboards rule. You can sample a build before committing to it and make sure it’s exactly what you want. Even using all 100k pots, all I have right now this thing sounds great. Would the 5&10k correct pots just give me more detailed dial-ability?

I use 9mm pots with breakout boards/headers for breadboarding. I also made breakouts with SMD transistors/diodes, etc. so I can straddle them across to both sides like an IC. Makes for a very neat board. Cut down dramatically on mistakes.
