Fjord Midnattssol - Good design? Or no?

Sounds great, and does some cool stuff, but what's really grabbing my attention is the novel 4 footswitch / giant center knob design...

Looks kinda awesome, and I like how he crammed a lot of function into what initially doesn't look like a lot of controls, but I guess it might be kind of a mess once you put it on a pedal board and were stomping all over the knobs of your other pedals.

...$399? I feel like it's aiming for the "IG guitarist" crowd, who place quite a bit of value in how their pedalboard looks and how cool it seems. But it might be a very smart business move, I don't know.

I mean... I'm not going to buy one ha!

Yeah I agree, it is pretty cool in it's own way, although I feel like it's still unnecessarily obtuse? I have no idea how it works without checking a video in detail or reading a manual (I gave the Andy demo a try but wasn't blown away by the tones so I didn't stick around).

Also to be fair, if you want a pedal with four footswitches, this is a low-footprint way to do it. I feel like a wide (but small) pedal like those chinese analog multi-effect pedals would be more utilitarian, especially live, but like I said, this might be more for the IG/home crowd (don't get me wrong, I also only play at home so even a 125B with two footswitches is fine for me).
